Women are a crucial part of our society and that goes as well for sports. Women’s football is conquering the world in the last decade.
That’s why International Women’s Day – celebrated on March 8th – was a good chance to celebrate this progress through a partnership.
1.FC Köln and Sanfrecce Hiroshima joined forces recently to expand their relationships around the world.
In this case, the German club and the Japanese reality can both rely on a women’s team. While Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina play in the Yogibo WE League, 1.FC Köln’s team features in the Frauen Bundesliga.
A collaborative video was created to raise awareness of International Women’s Day with the players of the Sanfrecce women’s team. Many people have commented positively on the project.
